Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Trailer Fleet Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and management of our trailer fleet. This role is primarily outdoor-based and requires working in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in diesel and trailer mechanics, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Shift Available: Monday- Saturday, 6:00am EST- 1:00pm EST
Pay: $65,184.00 - $70,950.00 USD annualy
Ability to Commute: Forest Park, IL 60130 (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Forest Park, IL 60130: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of trailer fleet and yard management.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Supervise mechanics and yard personnel, providing leadership and guidance.
• Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics on diesel trucks and trailers.
• Manage scheduling, documentation, and reporting using Microsoft Office applications.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• DOT Certification required.
• Proven experience in diesel mechanics and trailer mechanics.
• Previous management experience, ideally within fleet or yard operations.
• Ability to work outdoors consistently, regardless of weather conditions.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating clearly in English.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
