Position: SQL DBA
Duration: 6 Month Contract to hire
Location: 100% Onsite in Grand Rapids, MI
Visa: MUST BE US CITIZEN with Clean background
Candidate must be local to MI and must have LinkedIn and managerial references.
Client needs a SQL DBA to assist with migrations from physical database environment to Azure. Client is divesting from their parent company, and this resource would be the sole inhouse DBA. They do have an MSP for added support and have some inhouse DBA knowledge. They have been moving into the Azure space, so the more Azure experience the better. Resources must have some Azure SQL experience to be considered and prefer candidates with some Fabric as they are moving that direction (ie archiving). Resource needs experience with migrations, performance tuning, and need a 'Go getter' that will explore the environment and make improvements.
