Job Description
- The Staff Sonographer plays a critical role in providing diagnostic imaging services using high-frequency sound waves. This position requires:
- Technical Expertise to adjust imaging equipment and obtain tailored sonograms that accommodate unique patient conditions.
- Diagnostic Knowledge to recognize and diagnose pathology, ensuring each examination is customized to the patient and diagnostic concern.
- Collaboration with peers and physician supervision to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostics.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing a variety of routine and complex imaging procedures.
- Customizing examinations based on patient-specific needs and diagnostic findings.
- Operating independently while collaborating with the healthcare team as needed.
- Maintaining high standards in patient care and imaging quality.
Schedule
- Shift Hours: 9 PM-7 AM Sunday and 8 PM-6 AM Monday through Wednesday.
- Call duty may be assigned in the future based on business needs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Sign-On Bonus: External candidates may be eligible for a bonus of $10,000-$15,000, depending on experience. Bonuses are disbursed over several installments.
- Relocation Assistance: Candidates relocating more than 50 miles may be eligible for up to $9,200 in relocation support.

Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Sonography program.
- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
- Strong technical skills and diagnostic acumen.
