Exciting Career Opportunity – Export Control Compliance Analyst (Cybersecurity-Focused, Remote)

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an Export Control Compliance Analyst for one of our top clients in the electronic component manufacturing industry . This is a high-impact temporary opportunity ideal for cybersecurity professionals with experience in SIEM management, vulnerability scanning, and incident response . The role is remote and requires immediate availability.

Location: Remote (U.S. based)

Employment Type: Full-Time (Temporary Contract)

Duration: 6 Months

Pay: $70–$75/hour (DOE)

What You’ll Do:

• Monitor and triage security event logs from firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint systems
• Investigate Splunk SIEM alerts, escalate issues, and assist with root cause identification
• Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents and advise on remediation actions
• Integrate and validate log data from critical infrastructure across the enterprise
• Tune correlation rules, detection logic, and dashboards for optimized alerting
• Run and manage vulnerability scans using Tenable, Rapid7 Insight VM, or similar tools
• Coordinate patching efforts and risk mitigation with internal IT and InfoSec teams
• Lead threat hunting initiatives using SIEM, EDR, CASB, and other tools
• Monitor network traffic and detect anomalies using advanced cybersecurity platforms
• Develop and maintain documentation for detection use cases and cybersecurity SOPs
• Participate in response efforts during active security incidents or breaches
• Recommend improvements to SIEM coverage and detection fidelity

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

Experience:

• 5+ years in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or cybersecurity role
• Strong hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, especially Splunk
• Demonstrated knowledge of incident response, detection engineering , and vulnerability management

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with log sources (Windows/Linux servers, firewalls, cloud platforms)
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
• Proficiency with tools like Tenable, Rapid7 Insight VM , or similar
• Understanding of detection logic and security incident workflows

Soft Skills:

• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
• Resilient and curious learner; data-driven and proactive
• Adaptive and inclusive, able to work across diverse teams and environments
• Certifications (Preferred): Splunk Core Certified Power User, Security+, GCIA, or similar
