Description Join the team as an Advanced Practice Provider (PA) for the Pediatric and Adult Congenital Electrophysiology The PA will provide and coordinate the care of congenital heart patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The PA also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals and documents services rendered. ***This is one Advanced Practice Provider position within the Congenital Heart Program that will be filled be either a PA or NP** Salary range: PA: $74.95- $100.86/hourly SR PA - Title Code 9204 - range $77.67-$104.54/hourly Qualifications + Active license to practice as a Physician Assistant in California and must possess certification as Certified Physician Assistant through NCCPA -Required + Degree from accredited Physician Assistant Program -Required ( Master's Degree from a PA program preferred) + A minimum of 2 years cardiology experience- required + Previous PA experience -required + Previous pediatric cardiology or electrophysiology experience- preferred + BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross-required + ACLS and PALS certification from American Heart Association-required + Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs -required + Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required + Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required + Ability to set priorities-required + Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required + Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-required + This is one Advanced Practice Provider position within the Structural Heart Program that will be filled be either a PA or NP PA- Title Code 9203-range $70.65-$95.07/hourly SR PA - Title Code 9204 - range $77.67-$104.54/hourly UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person's unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
