Patient Authorization and Referral Representative, Providence St. Lukes Rehabilitation Institute, Spokane, WA

Under the general direction of the Admitting Manager, the Authorizations Representative- Outpatient/Inpatient caregivers' primary duties revolve around authorizations, but may also perform a variety of tasks related to patient scheduling, pre-registration, and authorization/verification of benefits in a fast paced, ever changing environment. The Authorization Representative cultivates working relationships between Therapists, Practitioners, and Patients.

Required Qualifications:

• Billing or insurance company experience.

• 1 year experience with authorizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with patient scheduling.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
