Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We require candidates to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution along with 2+ years of programming experience; or a High School Diploma with 6+ years of programming experience. Proficiency in Python and Python Task Automation is essential, as is experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design. Familiarity with Software Version Control and an understanding of JSON and YAML is also necessary.

Responsibilities:

• As a CNO Python Developer on our team, I expect you to design and create groundbreaking software that contributes to national security. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Delivering specialized testing and evaluation functions tailored to system operations.
• Executing system and subsystem definitions, preliminary and detailed designs, implementation processes, and overseeing subsystem and system integration tests for our systems.
• Conducting research on product requirements, including CNO deployment environments, performance standards, and competitive challenges.
• Analyzing computer user needs and evaluating system capabilities to address issues related to program intent, output specifications, input data gathering, and programming tasks.
• Debugging and troubleshooting existing software to rectify errors, adapt to new requirements, or enhance performance, while ensuring quality control on team deliverables.
• Coordinating and executing software deployments for developed products.
• Engaging with the complete Software Development Lifecycle.

More:

Preferred qualifications include experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, familiarity with subversion/GIT, as well as knowledge of Atlassian Tools like Confluence, Jira, Crucible, or similar platforms. Experience in software troubleshooting, debugging, analysis, reverse engineering, and unit testing is also advantageous. Additionally, familiarity with networking (TCP/IP) and socket-level programming, past experience in a CNO environment, and exposure to software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, TDD, or Waterfall will be beneficial.

Candidates must possess an active Secret (or higher) clearance, with the capability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Finally, it is important for applicants to be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time in this role.
