Seeking charismatic banquet servers for beautiful weddings, corporate, and social events at two event venues located in Pleasanton. They are a very successful and busy company year-round!

As a part of their team, you will be on your feet engaging with guests for prolonged
periods of time. Your role helps to create a memorable experience with each guest
at every event. Professionalism, a strong work ethic, and excellent customer
service are essential to making each guest feel special when attending an event
with us. Working with a large group, you will always have support with any needs
you or the guests have.

Candidate preferred experience:
Serving plated entrees and buffets
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable standing, walking for long periods of time
Able to quickly learn menu items and ingredients
Team player, working in a large team setting
Professional communication: verbal, non-verbal, and written
Ability to lift 40 lbs. and comfortable moving equipment (tables, chairs, etc.)

Job Requirements:
Must be able to work weekends and evenings
A minimum availability of 6 days a month (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday)
-Shifts are typically 6-8 hours, begin in the early afternoon, and are heavily weighted to Friday – Sunday
-Shifts are allocated based on performance, experience, and availability
-There are also shifts Monday - Wednesday day and/or swing
shift availability, depending on bookings
-Schedules are planned on a monthly basis so you can schedule your personal life
You will often carry trays of food, dishes, and glassware (training will be provided)
You will be expected to perform quickly and efficiently, and to remain actively
engaged throughout the durations of events
You will not be required to take food or drink orders
Must have physical dexterity, be quick to learn, and enjoy engaging with guests
Must be positive, adaptable and proactive
