Cubaka is an award-winning Social Media agency based in the UK that works with brands such as Hartley's Jelly & Jam, Bathroom Brands, bp, PlayOJO, AXA Investment Managers, Linda McCartney Foods, Virgin and Virgin Red, Dow Chemical Company and Avanti West Coast Trains, amongst others.

We are a friendly mix of Strategists, Creatives, Account Managers, Media Planners and Buyers - all with one goal: creating work that wins people's time on social media, in the most exciting ways possible.

We're looking for an Account Assistant to join our growing New York team. Reporting to our Account Director, you will support the development of our North American B2B social media practice.

We operate on a remote-first basis, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home while having access to our office at 666 3rd Ave, New York City, whenever needed.

As Account Assistant at Cubaka, you will:

• Help with the daily running of social media projects on our biggest client, Dow Chemical Company, supporting the Account Director in keeping things on track, on budget, and on brand.
  
• Help maintain timelines, update project trackers, schedule meetings, take notes, and follow up on actions.
  
• Support with the preparation of client-facing documents, including agendas, status reports, presentations, and content plans.
  
• Work with our teams, including Strategy, Creative, and Media, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  
• Stay up to date on social and digital trends, flagging interesting insights or standout campaigns to the team.
  
• Gain hands-on experience in how campaigns are developed and delivered, and build the skills to grow your career in B2B social media marketing
  

Y ou will bring:

• Some experience in an agency, internship, or marketing support role (or similar).
  
• An interest in social media and digital marketing.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A base salary of $70,000 - $80,000 gross per year, dependent on experience
