We are looking for an experienced Associate Director, Patient Marketing who will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and tactics in support of the anticipated launch of an investigational treatment in growth disorders. You will play a critical role in the success of the US business and work alongside senior leadership to realize this success. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment and the ability to flex between strategic and tactical thinking. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills required. Rare disease experience and experience collaborating with patient advocacy to best serve patients is also required.

This role will report to the Senior Director Brand Lead.  The expectation is in-office three days a week at our Princeton, NJ location to collaborate with team members and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role spearheading patient engagement activities to launch a rare disease product in the US
  • Responsible for developing effective strategy, campaigns, and tactics for patients to enhance disease education and product understanding.
  • The role will focus on keeping the patient at the center of how we think and what we choose to do.
  • Collaborate with internal team and external partners to successfully identify opportunities to enhance communication and understanding.
  • Partner with relevant colleagues in the development of market research and analytical projects.
  • Collaborate with patient services to develop appropriate support solutions
  • Establish critical commercial objectives and utilize metrics to drive decision-making and measure success of marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Medical, Regulatory, Legal to support goals

Requirements

  • Ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced environment, lead through ambiguity, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Rare disease or specialty market experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, sciences, or related field
  • Proficiency in core principles of brand management, including brand positioning, value proposition, segmentation, messaging, and investment optimization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interact with multiple audiences including key opinion leaders and patient advocates
  • Strong analytical skills as well as a strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics and the ability to identify market trends that impact business goals
  • Experience leading projects with cross-functional partners and facilitating consensus-building

Salary Range: $180-195k/year DOE
