Job Description

We are seeking an Art Director in Richmond VA for our financial services client. This is an initial 2-year contract position that will work hybrid (onsite 3 days per week).

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. 

Rate: $25 - $30 / hr. w2

• Be comfortable designing for digital/mobile and web content.
• Understand the importance of brand and marketing; be interested in understanding the bigger picture.
• Brainstorm with a team to generate ideas and creative concepts.
• Have a strong sense of teamwork to collaborate with internal marketing partners, other brand team members, and line-of-business clients to help execute marketing strategy.
• Be self-organized and able to manage multiple deadlines on numerous, concurrent projects.
• Have strong presentation skills (articulate and sell work).
• Have a positive attitude and be open to all kinds of feedback about the work. A good sense of humor never hurts.
• Take direction well and ask questions when clarification is necessary.
• Consistently deliver quality work on time.

Basic qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of agency or in-house experience in digital marketing
• 3-5+ channels
• Proficient with Adobe CS including Photoshop and Illustrator Working knowledge on UI/UX design practices

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with marketing strategy, interaction design and understanding of UX principles Proficient in Figma
• Some areas of experience that would be a big plus: display advertising, Meta advertising, content marketing, user testing and social media best practices

Bachelor's degree as a Designer, Interaction Designer or Web and Mobile Application Designer

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
